MarkupLine(string)

Writes a string that is parsed as Spectre.Console markup to the output, followed by a line break.

IOutput MarkupLine(string value)

Parameters

value string

The markup to render, such as "[green]ok[/]".

Returns

IOutput

The current output instance for method chaining.

Remarks

The line-terminating form of Markup(string). The same escaping rule applies: data that did not originate in the source file goes through Escape(string) or MarkupLineInterpolated(FormattableString).

Exceptions

ArgumentNullException

value is null.

InvalidOperationException

value is not well-formed markup, for example an unknown style name or an unbalanced tag.
